This break out box was made by OTC as a unversal OBD I computer access point. It allows the easy testing of all the power feeds and grounds as well as the signals returned from the sensors.
You can check every sensor and switch from a single location without having to crawl under the hood or chassis to reach certain wires for backprobing.
Using this tool prevents the accidental induced faults from puncturing wires or damaging connector pins. Thus it saves the mechanic technician time and headaches from rechecks.
Includes the adapter cable for vehicles made by Ford.
This tool is used with mostly OBD I era and legacy cars. A tool like this rarely shows up in any condition as very few were ever sold.
